Are you comfortable in your own body?
Women face a beauty crisis in this culture
Statistics show that very few women, whether large or small, young or old, culturally-deemed ‘beautiful’ or not, love or accept their body.
Body Embraced is a powerful weekend designed to help you challenge society’s standard of beauty that you’ve accepted as your own. We are the hardest on ourselves, constantly measuring ourself and our body up to an impossible ideal. Through this workshop, you’ll be empowered to stand for your unique voice, shape, and authentic expressions. You’ll discover that beauty is not “one size fits all” – and that there is no one perfect body!
It’s Time for a Change
The Body Embraced process is a rare opportunity to explore the unconscious beliefs (both personal and collective) that you carry towards yourself and your body. When unexamined, these beliefs actually stop you from coming into a healthy relationship with yourself and your body. In a supportive environment, with the trust and power of a committed group of women, you will release these beliefs and start a new relationship with yourself that is based on love, acceptance, and authentic expression.
How can I love and accept my body?
Body Embraced is an experiential workshop designed to penetrate into the subconscious layers where your negative beliefs are stored. It’s important that you access these layers, since neuroscience now knows that approximately 90% of our behavior is driven by these subconscious forces. Unfortunately, many personal growth modalities only address one level of our being—which ultimately leaves the healing process incomplete, and easily derailed. When your process is complete, you’ll discover a new and improved relationship with your body that is built on trust, intuition, awareness and healing.
The Body Embraced program is holistic – ensuring that all levels of your being (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) are addressed. This allows you to access and release these deep-seated beliefs. This is not talk therapy! The Body Embraced processes are designed to help you go much deeper, so that healing is tangible, integrated, and lasting.
Embark on a journey of SELF love
Using experiential modalities of movement, creativity, inquiry, emotional clearing techniques, journaling, sacred ritual, breath-work, relaxation, and meditation, this retreat will help you discover the “right relationship” with your body.
This relationship holds the key to expressing your unique sensuality, aliveness and natural radiance –creating beauty and balance both inside and out.
Feel the joy of being in your own skin.
What people are saying:
“I wanted to acknowledge you, Neelama, for designing such a brilliant course. This weekend was unlike anyother I have experienced while participating in transformational work. Who you are is so genuine and amazingly generous!”
Karen Breslin, Teacher, Washington DC
“Neelama, thank you so much for facilitating what for me was an amazing weekend. I moved into a new understanding of myself and my body and the messages I’ve been feeding it all my life. I’ve begun to listen to that powerful and free part of me that I have shunned for so many years. I definitely am committed to nurturing and supporting this opening, which feels tender and exciting!” Christina Marchant, Health Services Manager, Ottawa, Canada
